#36 Days of Type
If you haven't heard of this art challenge, it's a yearly social media event that invites designers, illustrators and visual artists to express their unique interpretation of the letters and numbers.
Creatives explore the boundaries of letterforms by designing a letter or number each day for 36 consecutive days.
I decided to do this challenge with the hopes of improving my lettering work. As I worked my way through this challenge, making art everyday for over a month I noticed a few things about myself.
1) I need variety. I like to learn new things so staying in my comfort zone isn't fun for me.
2) As time went on, I gravitated toward more animated and 3D ideas.
3) On average I was spending about 2 hours to create each piece throughout the 36 days.

The Lettering Style Challenge
by Aurelie Maron
This an online event that encourages artists to participate in
daily lettering prompts for the entire month of October. During the
challenge, you can experiment with different lettering styles and
techniques to create unique lettering pieces.
The goal I had for this challenge was to create 10 second looping animations for every piece out of Sabrina Carpenter song lyrics.
This video I have attached runs through them all quickly, but if you want to see the individual pieces be sure to look at my instagram.
Again as the challenge went on I began to do more and more 3D pieces. I spent about 3-5 hours creating each of these animations.
